SBTI instituted six oral presentation awards in order to give platform for young researcher in various subject areas. The presentations for oral awards will be conducted every year in the Annual conference of SBTI.
- KAPL Award for best oral presentation in Industrial Biotechnology.
- IBS Award for best oral presentation in Medical Biotechnology/ application of software technologies in medicine
- Shri. C V Jacob Award for best original paper presentation (oral) in Plant Biotechnology / spices
- Shri. K.N. Narasimhiah Award for best original paper presentation (oral) in cancer biology
- Kunnath Pharmaceuticals Award for best original paper presentation (oral) in Herbal medicine and disease management
- Prof. Edathil Vijayan Award for best original paper presentation (oral) in Neuroscience/ Neuroendocrinology.
The presentations can be made by Project students, Research scholars and other research students. The local organizing committee of SBTI Annual Conference will call for abstracts from students/ researchers for award presentations.
